Top 5 pregnancy must haves in 2017

One of the best things expecting mothers love to do is to shop for their babies. From cribs to shoes, toys and cute outfits, once these mothers get started, it’s pretty difficult to get them to stop. If you are one of those expectant mothers, there’s nothing wrong with buying stuff for your baby, but you must not also forget to spoil yourself once in awhile.

The experience of pregnancy varies from mother to mother, but one thing they will all say is that their lives have drastically changed due to it. Both physically and emotionally, the changes can be sometimes uncomfortable. The good thing is that there are many products out there to help mothers feel more comfortable and at ease during their pregnancy.

Here are just some of the things you can use to make your pregnancy more memorable and enjoyable.

1. Body oil – especially during the second trimester, there is no escaping from the stretching that will happen in your body. As your baby grows, so will you. The downside though is that you’re your belly will get dry and itchy. Religiously using body butter or belly oil may help relieve that itchiness and can even help keep the stretch marks to a minimum.

2. Vitamins – you need to make sure that you are getting enough nutrients while pregnant. Some of the most important ones that you need to have are calcium, iron and of course, folic acid. Your doctor would most likely prescribe some to you, just make sure that you are not allergic or sensitive to some of the ingredients.

3. Comfortable clothing – pregnant women also experience indigestion and heartburn. Wearing tight clothes may aggravate your condition. Make sure that you invest in comfortable and loose maternity clothes. There are many stylish designs available nowadays, try to look for pieces that you would be able to wear even after you have given birth.

4. Good shoes – aside from the added weight of the baby, most pregnant women would also experience foot swelling.  There are even times when, even after pregnancy, women would not be able to go back to their previous foot size. While pregnant, avoid stilettos and instead opt for a good pair of running shoes. If you’re attending a more formal event, you can opt for loafers or cute ballet flats instead.


5. Body pillow – any woman who has gone through pregnancy will tell you how difficult it can get to sleep comfortably, most especially in the last trimester. There’s no avoiding the aching body, most especially your back because of the added weight. Because getting enough is very important, consider investing in a pregnancy body pillow. These make sleeping more comfortable and you can’t help but feel relaxed. The great thing is that you can use even after you have given birth, making it a worthwhile investment.
