So Chick Handbags & a Fabric Giveaway!

There are many women in the handmade business world that I admire for their creativity, skills, talents, and ability to thrive with their businesses. I am so thrilled that Melissa of So Chick Handbags wanted to join in on the Holli Days fun!

Melissa is super sweet and is hosting a giveaway for the Hiya Luv community! One lucky reader will receive a brand new fat quarter bundle featuring fabric from Jennifer Paganelli's new Happy Land collection! Winner will receive one fat quarter cut of the following prints: Candice Blue, Candice Red, Eloise Sky, Madison Blue, and Madison Red.
WIN ME!

Melissa chose these prints for their versatility and because she loves the saturated colors that Jennifer uses. To get the party started, I asked Melissa to answer a couple of questions so that you could get to know her better.

1. What is your favorite part of the holiday season?
I enjoy baking, every year my holiday baking time management improves, I wear one of my favorite aprons that I made, blast some Christmas music on Pandora and bake my heart out... mostly cookies and biscotti, yum!
2. Are you creating any special holiday items for your handmade shop?
I will be offering personalized gift sets of wristlets & cafe wraps, for the holidays.  I'll probably throw in the personalized Holiday Handtowels, too... because, honestly, Everyday Chicks need Monogrammed Holiday Handtowels!
3. What is your favorite holiday dish?
Hmm... I'm a fan of pretty much any of the "Holiday Staples" but I'll say that Pecan Pie and Christmas Ham have to be at the top... and day-after-Thanksgiving-Turkey Sandwiches!
4. Where is your favorite place to shop for holiday gifts or decor?
There is a store near me called New River Pottery and I love browsing all of the tons of home decor goodies that they have, but it is the most fun walking through there when all of the Christmas decor is out.  I love the way they deck out all of the trees with glittery sprays, sparkling garlands and ornaments that look good enough to eat!

I would use the floral for a hexie project I'm just starting and the other prints would be wonderful for one of the many pillow projects I have bookmarked. Thanks for the give away
