Wishing You a Happy & Safe Halloween

Halloween is my favorite holiday of the year. I love seeing the kiddos dressed up in costumes, handing out candy to little one's, and sneaking a piece or two ten for myself.

This year, Halloween doesn't feel like Halloween. It feels like a day after a horrendous storm. Delaware was spared from most of Sandy's wrath however her presence is still here...

I feel bad for those in NYC, Jersey, Conneticut, Maryland, Road Island, etc. that are dealing with the aftermath of the storm.

I am tired of talking and hearing about the storm. I am looking forward to giggling with the kiddos when they come to the door. I look forward to showering them with candy...and the good kind too.

Instead of dwelling on what could have been with Sandy and the destruction that she caused elsewhere, I am going to choose to look at the bright side and enjoy what is left of my Halloween.

Wishing you and yours a fun, safe, and happy Halloween! And eat lots of candy!

Happy Halloween! :)

I know what you mean about the storm and I'm so happy that for the sake of our kids we got to do Halloween and everyone was nice. It was good to clear my mind!

Did you dress Polo up?
