I am linking up with Glitter & Gloss for Mani Monday event though this post is for Tuesday. Oops. I am just a wee bit behind this week on my blogging. I blame it on my super busy but fun weekend with the husband.
I am usually not one to paint my nails because I don't really know why. Maybe I end up smudging them more often than not. Maybe I am lazy. Whatever. I just don't.
This week I felt the urge to paint my nails with my new Sally Hansen Magnetic nail polish that I received in my summer voxbox from Influenster. I have been oohing and ahhing over the pretty purple color for a couple of weeks and was somewhat confused by the magnet that came with the bottle.
I sat down on Sunday afternoon before we attended a family party and decided to give it a whirl. I am so glad I did. It was really, super easy, and the magnet that I had been intimidated by was the coolest part of painting my nails.
I painted my nails with 2 coats of polish like normal. After the second coat, I placed the magnet over my wet nail and held it there for 10 seconds. When I pulled the magnet away, the nail polish was shiny and wavy leaving me so really happy with the look.
I received many compliments on my nails at the family party and from my colleagues at work. I am excited to try more Sally Hansen magnetic colors in the very near future. For now, I am going to enjoy my polar purple nails.
I was not compensated in any way for this post. I was provided a bottle of Sally Hansen magnetic polish in my Summer Vox Box from Influenster.
