I signed up for Weight Watcher's today. And I am freaking out that I have to give up on the abundance of sugar that I eat. And change my ways. It really is a good thing. I just need to take it in stride. I want to change my lifestyle. I want to take big steps to eat healthier and be healthier. I have been wanting to do this for awhile and now is a great time to start.
Now if I could just get D to do it with me...it is so hard to cook for me and then for him...but for now I will make do....

It is totally my goal to get healthier this year too! WW seems like a good program to follow, wishing you lots of success! I started a Fit Club on my blog to try to help everyone with health goals stay on track this year. I'd love for you to stop by and join in! http://itsacraftylife.blogspot.com/2012/01/welcome-to-fit-club.html
If he doesn't like what you make he doesn't eat. That's the rule in my house. It'll take some getting used to, but I'm sure you can do it. Just remember that you can eat anything you want in moderation.
I think I need to do WW in order to actually be accountable and not eat so much junk. Counting points would be good for me! Ha! Let me know how it goes for you.
I will keep you posted for sure! This is my first time doing it. I have wanted to try it for awhile now and felt that it was a good time to start-especially since I am getting married this year!:)
I love that rule! I am too nice. That is what it boils down too! grr. :)
Thanks for stopping by and letting me know about your new club! I will definitely pop on by and check it out! :)gina
good luck !
Can't wait to hear about it! I did it 2 years ago with my work...lost 15 lbs! It works really well and it really isn't TOO hard...it's the most reasonable diet I could stick to. BUT unfortunately I stopped and have gained it all back + some more :( Boo. I would do it again though - it was really a good program! It really helps to do it with someone!
Great to hear! You should get back on it! I am trying the online version! I am sure I will write about it every now and again on here:)
Thanks!
Girl, you can do it! Weight Watchers was the way to go for me. I don't weigh-in or attend meetings, but I still have all my information and refer to it often.
Thanks! I'm hearing so many success stories and I'm looking forward to my journey! It also helps that if I have a tough time I have All Of you to turn to for support! I'm doing the online version :)
Good luck!! You will do great!
Good luck Gina! I've known a lot of people who have done really well on WW! I know it's so hard to watch what you eat when you have a partner on a whole different wavelength! Here's hoping you can get D to join you on the bandwagon and achieving your goals!

Good for you! I have friends who have had great success and I know you will too!! Here's to a healthy 2012.
I just cut out all carbs except for fruit, whole grains, and the occasional potato. Two days in and I'm learning to fill my plate with good stuff instead of racing to the cookie jar or candy dish, or whatever I can plow through in one sitting. Ha. Let's be accountability buddies!!
