I am so proud of my sister and think she is so smart and beautiful. While she was visiting we went shopping and she helped me pick out a couple of new display items for my upcoming craft shows. We also took a day trip to NYC for shopping and to visit the 9/11 Memorial.
We had such fun.

We were so lucky to get tickets.
I had been stalking the 9/11 Memorial reservation system online for weeks and was finally able to get us tickets at 6am on the morning we wanted to go.
Tickets are free (suggested donation) and are required.
You cannot get in without a ticket.

The Fountains
It was so peaceful inside the Memorial.
After visiting the Memorial, we needed a pick me up.
Naturally, we went shopping in the Fashion District and stopped by Times Square.
We also had to get another cupcake at Crumbs. {oink, I know.}
By now I was really tired as you can see by the horrendous photo.
Like my new scarf?
I had just purchased it and didn't want to take it off although it was pretty warm outside.
And on Allison's last night visiting we of course had to take her out to watch Monday Night Football at our favorite local pizza joint.
I wish my sister lived closer. We had so much fun.

8 luv notes:
You two, other than your hair, look so much alike! My sister and I are the same way really. She's very blonde, and I'm very brunette, and I miss her like crazy all the time. I'm so glad you guys had fun!
What a wonderful weekend-so glad you two got to enjoy so much time together!
You guys look so cute....Im sure it was really nice to catch up:)

I visited NYC this past summer for the first time and loved it! It's so great to spend time with family - I wish my sister lived closer too :)
pleased you had such a great time with your beautiful sister sweetie. I'm not sure I could be as strong as you visiting the memorial, I had a hard time just walking past where the towers used to stand; but perhaps with something there now I'd be able to. God bless xox
Oh I want to visit the memorial so badly!
