For the Love of Japan

Words cannot express what I am feeling right now for Japan.

I am speechless and heartbroken.
I am amazed at the care, concern, and peace that seems to be in the air among turmoil.
I have not heard stories of looting, stealing, or hurting one another.
The Japanese people are resilient.
This too shall pass...but until then...
they need help.
{the first shelterbox to arrive in Japan today}

As we watch history unfold before our eyes, I want to do something.
but what?
I want to donate money. I want to donate food, water.
I really want to donate a shelterbox
A shelterbox costs $1,000.
It includes a tent, blankets, pots, pans, water, food, toys for children, and so many things that you may need in desolate conditions.
Here is a video all about shelterbox.

I think that $1,000 is a very generous and *ambitious* goal.
I would love to be able to make any donation to Shelterbox.
Are you interested in joining me?
Please Spread the word?

*Also, I will be participating in the Blogger Day of Silence on Friday, March 18th for the Love of Japan.
