Winter Inspirations

Take a minute.
Inspiration is all around.
I define inspiration as material things that make my heart flutter, add a sparkle to my eye, and make me feel giddy.
I am inspired by people with eclectic, genuineness to their personality.

{I am inspired by kindness, love, passion, respect, and integrity.}

I am inspired by Fabric. Touching, feeling the texture of fabric and envisioning what the fabric would look like after I mold and create it into something unique and special.
A yard of fabric is just that; fibers intertwined together to make a sheet...until you create

I am inspired by Quotes.
Sometimes I search for a quote to describe how I am feeling. It is highly likely to find me sitting with my computer sifting through websites looking for quotes. I will sit and reflect on the quote, what it means to me, and how it can relate to my blog and my readers. From there a post is born!

I am inspired by this picture.

I am inspired by Friendship, Fellow bloggers, & Tweeters
I love connecting with others through social media and am amazed at how many fabulous people I have been blessed to meet *and still meet* because of the warm community online.

I am inspired by Candles on a cold, dreary winter night make the house feel cozy.

I am inspired when Sewing.

***I am inspired by Splashes of color in the gray. ***

I am inspired by Snuggles with a furry friend.

{ I'm inspired by you. }

What inspires you in the winter?

I'm inspired by unexpected warm fronts that make me think winter might not last for 7 months this year. :)

Not sure that winter inspires much more in me, but regardless of season, I'm also very inspired by my online friends. Through the various ways I've been online over the last 15 years, I've gotten to know so many people and have grown myself a lot. Yesterday, a friend (who I know in person but mostly online) said she thinks I process things by writing them out. I've never considered myself a writer but she's right - I do run to the nearest computer when I have something in my brain that needs to get out. I can look through my online journals and various profiles and see the way I've changed and grown over the years, and the people in community with me online - whether I also know them in person or not - have been a major part of that growth and journey. Some I connect with on a lighthearted level, but some have been through major life events with me, and I with them.

So they, and you - and all the people I will continue to get to know as the years progress - inspire me.

In the winter I'm inspired by hot cups of tea, snow covered tree's and the look on my daughters face when we go out into the below zero temperatures and she tries to say 'cold' with the biggest smile on her face!

What a wonderful post! I'm inspired by John, who is having such amazing success at school; his hard work and dedication are paying off ten fold, and it's just amazing to see him soar!

You are adorable, Gina! I'm inspired by other bloggers and crafters, my kids, my husband, at church. . .really all around. Winter time isn't really that different for me, except that maybe I am more inspired to snuggle and watch movies, hehe ;)

There are so many things that inspire me. I think when you're the creative type, you can see something for a second that sparks a much bigger idea. (I know my fiancé is like that!)

For the past year, I've been addicted to flickr. I find so many beautiful photos, especially of people's homes. I've joined so many groups and even started my own. Its fun, easy, and I can be on there as long as I want.

First of all this post is inspiring. Letting people know what inspires you sometimes can show people who they are missing for inspiration. I am inspired by a good song, a well written book, daydreaming while people watching and tons of other things...

quotes are often sparks for my writing as well, and you will also often find me sifting through quotes and reflecting too :)

Glad to meet you and learn a little more about you from this post!

well, I definitely am inspired by all those things on your list, as well as your list itself :)

anything beautiful (in MY mind's eye) inspires me; hearing the sparrows singing outside my window; a walk across the fields; a good book.... xox
