december, please be kind.

Today I woke up with feelings of sadness.
 Gloom.
It didn't help that I was really cold.
and that I didn't want to go to work.
Do you ever have days that you just dread every bit of it?
For no apparent reason?
My day wasn't particularly hard; in fact it was quite easy.
I was able to accomplish a lot at work.
I came home to several packages from blog friends which uplifted my spirits immensely.
I cleaned the house.
Wrapped presents.
and realized that I am sad because for the first time in my life I am not excited about the holiday.
Something has happened; I'm consumed entirely. Too busy.
Something has to give. but what?
Do you ever feel like that?

Yes. I totally understand how you feel. Sometimes life just gets to wear you down a little too much. I hope a few days of relaxing and some Christmas cheer come your way.

I know exactly how you feel. But I know things will look up and once Christmas actually comes, I'm sure that feeling of gloom will fade away. <3

Hi Gina!

I am sorry that you are feeling down. I feel that way alot. I try to analyze why and often it's because I feel like I have too much going on and it stresses me out.

I hope you are feeling a little better. how fun that you came home to some packages!!

Your sweet comments always brighten my spirit!!

Merry Christmas!

xoxo

I would agree with Jen. I think it's the hustle and bustle of the holiday. And Im sure the weather adds to it. Try to focus on what the holiday is really about...that seems to help me brighten up a bit.

Hope you have an extra special day soon!!

I'm so sorry to hear that you're down! But I totally am there with you. I've been feeling like that lately...yesterday in particular. I hope you have a great holiday and pray that you'll find some peace this season.

All I can say is that I know exactly how you're feeling, and I love you. I know it'll get better for both of us.
