constant movement

Vacation taught me that I need to try to slow down. {But how? I have no clue.}
My job is fast paced and I am constantly going non-stop throughout the day from the moment I wake up at 5:00am until I get home at 6:30pm. When I get home I crash.

Monday through Friday this is the routine.

The weekends are glorious.
I find myself working for the weekend but I dislike that mentality. I love my job and my colleagues however I just wish I had more time to create.

I have been looking forward to the weekend since Monday because I have the following planned:
 Buy a camera
take pictures
 sleep for days
play with yarn
and take time to smell the roses

How do you slow down life? What are your weekend plans?

The "I'm great in bed" image is hilarious.

I don't have a job really, but I look forward to the weekends as well. Jim is home, no school for the kids. We like to just be together. . .never too much in the way of plans. I like it that way most of the time :D

what a wonderful plan for the weekend.
I'm the same with work, too strong a work ethic in us I reckon, then you exhaust yourself & are too tired to do what you want when you can.
I love your weekend plans & I hope to do something similar this weekend - relax, craft & relax, enjoy lovely, you deserve it xx

I felt like I was reading my own thoughts with this post-I've been looking forward to Friday since Sunday evening!

Our big plans include a photoshoot to help build one of our friend's portfolios, and plenty of practicing for John! We always make an obscene brunch during the weekends, too, because breakfast during the week is usually a piece of toast on the fly!

I always slow down with a good brunch each weekend. Something about coffee and pancakes always makes me happy.

I'm sleepin' this weekend! I've been sick all week, so I've never been so happy to see Friday. Also hoping to get a little crafting in too!

You are speaking my thoughts - I hate that I want to rush through the week - but I get so much more done creatively on the weekends. Hope that you are able to just have sometime to be!
