trying to adjust

It is my first day back to work after a very relaxing time away from work.
How do you adjust back to work after time away?

Typically, I'm only away from work two weeks MAX. (Not that I like my job that much, but that's how much vacation time I ever have.) It isn't too difficult to readjust after 11 days.

I had to go on medical leave during November 2008. I had been injured in a car accident. I was off work for over 12 weeks. It was so nice, I DIDN'T want to go back. But, I eased back int it and was happy to see all my friends again. That's what made it better. :)

Oh boy-it's not easy! Give yourself time to get back in the swing of the things.

I loathe the email inbox after a vacation! Good luck!

very badly! seriously, I find that as soon as I go back to work, it's like I never had a break. My desk is always covered with work, my inbox will have hundreds of emails.

I try to keep my hol in my mind, and where possible take something small into work, or a photo on my phone, that I can look at to remind me!

I'm off to the states in a couple of weeks (posted about it last week) and I know when I get back it will be horrid, but I keep telling myself it'll then pay for the next one :) xx

Totally agree with the sentiment of this illustration -- hope your adjustment back went smoothly!
