first harvest

How are you decorating for the period between Halloween and Christmas?
Are you decorating with leaves, owls, acorns, pine cones, candles, and scents of apple cinnamon?
Are you decorating with apples, gourds, nuts, neutral colors, or a cornucopia?
Or a yard full of hay, pumpkins, barrels, and wood boxes?

Or are you thinking outside the box?

How are you decorating for the harvest?

A little of everything! I have pumpkins, fall colored leaves, gourds, etc that I put around the house. It's just too much fun not to decorate during these short few months! xoxo

Acorns and some corn! Minimal for me is key during this month because it is sandwiched between two super busy months. Pretty pictures Gina! :)

Sadly, nothing right now :( However I did go out last night to get some autumn decorations for an army function I went to, and would you believe that I couldn't find any autumn stuff?! Christmas is all I could find!

I haven't done anything yet.. Pumpkins, smelly good candles, and Id like to do a hanging bunting or something somewhere that says give thanks.. Not sure if I'll get around to getting any of that up but I do love this month.

I have to get on that! I usually don't do too much this time of year but always have some yankee candle autumn leaves tarts going....it makes me feel like it's holiday time!

John is wild for pumpkin spice candles, and the constant stream of pies and quick breads from our oven make the house smell delicious, but I don't usually decorate, per say. I should though-all this inspiration is amazing!

Hi Gina, a friend and I were just talking today about decorating inbetween Halloween and Christmas. It seems like it's always such a short time that the Halloween decorations are up, and I'm always a little sad to have to take them down so soon! You definitely have me feeling inspired, however, now that I've seen that amazing cornucopia!

My mom was just saying that between Thanksgiving always gets overlooked in the decoration department. I am still looking for inspiration.

Most of my Halloween decorations were harvesty... so I'm pretty much just sticking with that. It's a hard month for decorating.. I just want to break out the Christmas stuff! :]

I'm partial to decorating with owls, but that sort of transcends seasons, hehe.
