eternally grateful

Sometimes my job requires that I work long hours.
Some long hours are scheduled and others are not.
Enter this past week.
I was on call for campus with another colleague and we were blessed with-I will call it-professional development. We were up all night from Thursday until Sunday with very little sleep during the day.
No wonder I am losing my hair. Literally.

Anyhow-enough crying.

My co-worker was truly amazing this week and as she lives on campus had to deal with the brunt of all the issues. As I am eternally grateful for her hard work I wanted to make her a little something to show her my appreciation.

I have been loving Libby's printables. Have you seen them?
D to the arling.
I had one printed at Walgreens and decided to spruce up a frame that I had purchased awhile back.

I chose buttons and a sweet bow.

part of me thinks I should have just left it plain jane.

Oh! Hello, this is Polo. He is my assistant. He gets paid in doggy bones.
Today he was napping on the job though because he stayed up with me all night the past few days.
He's such a good pupster.

position the buttons and glue

 tah! dah!

I wrapped it in tissue paper, tied it with a bow, and wrote out a card expressing my gratitude.
I hope she likes it!

How do you show thanks to others?

Gina, I just love this and I'm sure your co-worker will be so touched! It's such a beautiful way to show your appreciation for someone's hard work!

As for me, a giddy email or effusive card is usually my gratitude route of choice!

Love that - so important because it's so easy to let all the junk get in the way!
