Sundays are made of this {and a recipe}

Hiya Friends!

Today was the first fall Sunday that I have been home and have had the entire day to do what I love-->spend time with my familia; Dave and Polo.

A typical Sunday looks like this:

We wake up, either go across the street to a local breakfast eatery for pancakes or I make breakfast. Then we both do some things around the house, check our own fantasy football teams and then watch NFL all day and night. It is glorious!

I "watch" but I also do other things too like clean, cook, read, blog or craft.

Our Sunday afternoon usually calls for a dip of some kind. Today I made one of Dave's favorites:
Buffalo Chicken Dip served with french bread pieces and fresh celery.

As a vegetarian I did not get to enjoy the dip but from the way he scarfed it down and then asked for 2nds I knew it was good!

Buffalo Chicken Dip Recipe
{It is SUPER easy and takes no time at all.}

You will need:

  • 2 (10 ounce) cans chunk chicken, drained
  • 1 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup Blue Cheese dressing
  • 1/2 cup Blue Cheese crumbles
  • 1/2 cup any flavor FRANK'S RedHot sauce {or whatever you choose to use}
  • Assorted vegetables and/or french bread cubes/slices for dipping

Directions:
1) Stir cream cheese in deep baking dish until smooth. Stir in remaining ingredients.
NOTE: Make sure to drain the chicken really good. Any extra liquid is no bueno.
Mix it up
Our veggies and bread slices to go with the dip. I am a vegetarian so I didn't eat the dip so really this was for Dave.

2) Bake at 350F for 20 min until hot and bubbling. Stir. Serve with vegetables/bread/crackers.

3) Enjoy and watch it disappear!

Do you have a favorite dip recipe? If so, please share! I make a different dip weekly and am always looking for new recipes.

YUM! David absolutely loves wings with his football, but wings can get really expensive. This looks like an amazing and cheaper alternative! Thanks for sharing!
[So glad you are able to have a lovely low-key Sunday! Those are the best!]

I am definitely going to try this! My favorite dip is a chili dip, you can use just beans and no meat, too!

1/2 pkg cream cheese
1/2 block of velveeta
1-2 cans chili beans
1 can Rotel
salsa
milk

Add to crock pot and cook on low! :) Serve with tortilla chips!

Ok, so it's not exactly a dip, but it's still fun munchie food! Here's my fave...
