the cat is out of the bag

If it wasn't already, the cat is officially out of the bag.
I adore pink. I also love flowers and the floral patterns that are available this season:
1) make me very happy
2) make me want to buy everything I see &
3) brake the bank (not hot)
I have been trying very hard to be thrifty lately so that I can save money for the wedding but I was never taught as a child to save my money. Now that I am an "adult" I find it really hard to save-really, really hard.
So parents out there-make sure you teach your kiddo(s) how to save money.
Barbie and all her besties are cute and fun but it is more fun to have cash stashed away-even when you are 5.
They will really appreciate it later. You know how it is hard to teach an adult dog new tricks?
Yea, that is me with saving. It is hard to teach me to save money-it always feels like there is something that I need. Now I think about needs vs. wants when I am out shopping and this seems to help with impulse buys if nothing else.

Q: Do you have any tips on how to hunker down and be a money-saving honey while still being a fashionista? If so, please share. I would love to hear your advice!

Luv & smiles,

PS-Enjoy my polyvore. It's free and just as gorgeous as the real deal. (If i keep telling myself that I will eventually believe it.)

I am not a great saver but one big thing I do is give myself a certain amount of money a month to shop. It helps me stick to it. If I don't have it I tend to just buy things I like when I see them. It doesn't always work but more often than not it does!!! I also make a list of things I want to buy and try to stick to it!!!

Love the polyvore!
