I'm so excited cuz you're my best friend...

God, I love me some old school Madonna. I have been known to rock out to some 80s hits and one of my ALL TIME favorite's is Madonna's 1986 chart-topper, "True Blue." Every time I hear that song, no matter my mood, I drop my worries, sing along, and have no care in the world-at least for the four minutes and seventeen seconds of the track. I also remember my girlfriends and I used to "make" my Mom play the "True Blue" cassette in the car on the way to the grocery store, gym, cinema, and of course the mall. *sigh*

These days my girlfriends and I do not "make" my Mom take us to the grocery store, gym, cinema, or the mall and we don't often if ever unless I am with my friend James Capshaw blast "True Blue" on the way to the mall. In fact, I rarely go to the mall these days to maintain my closet because the internet is so accessible and I love that I do not have to leave the house. I also love that if I feel like being a lazy bum on the couch I can do that and nobody will judge me, not that I would really give a rats anyhow, but I would not look as appealing in the changing room mirrors if I was not dolled up.

Over the past week or so I have been having the blues. No, I'm not depressed although no shame in that. I mean, I have been attracted to blue anything-scarves, purses, shoes, jeans, tops, dresses, rings, nail polish, stationary, hair dye for Polo-no not really but see this pic of Polo & his buddy Slater with a blue faux-hawk playing at the park in Costa Mesa, CA.

My favorite color is pink and therefore my spring and summer ensembles typically represent this. As of late I have been wearing a lot of black, grays, and neutrals. I think I may mix it up with some blues this spring.

Blue and gray is one of my favorite color combos. I love all of these picks, and can honestly say that if that scalloped skirt wasn't 100 dollars it would be in my hands right now.
