Searching Part 2

Happy Saturday luvs! Thank you all so much for your comments on my previous post about "Searching" for the perfect shoes to match my dress that I ordered to wear to my brother's upcoming nuptials in May. I have yet to receive my dress in the post yet so I cannot share photos and I cannot find photos of the dress online anywhere! Boo-I know. So many of you have been super sweet and have tried to give me advice on a shoe to buy without even seeing a pic and for that I am very grateful. I can't even find a photo on "Beyond the Rack" in the past sales section-double boo! or boo boo! Okay, enough of the boos.

Gorgeous fashion blogger and super talented jewelry designer Wendy Brandes gave me a suggestion to check out cork or gold shoes to go with my dress. I immediately loved the idea and thought, "Why didn't I think of that?! ha!" But that is why we have fellow blogger friends, right?! :)

Based on suggestions from you all, I have spent some time this morning doing what I love-shopping! I have perused many sites and have collected a selection of potential shoe candidates to go with my dress. Here they are:
Sigerson Morrison, photo credit: Neiman Marcus
I like this sandal but am worried it may take away from my dress.

I love the delicate detail of the pear-like beads on this sandal. This sandal is not too busy to take away from my dress but is still dressy enough to make a subtle statement.

Then I got to thinking that in early May it is not gaurenteed to be warm enough to wear sandals such as these. AND-sandals may not be dressy enough even with the pearl beads and various detailing on these sandals. Perhaps I need to look into pumps. Plus, I typically lean more towards pumps anyhow. Here are the finalists:

Of course I must consider Monsieur Louboutin and this beauty. Photo: Neiman Marcus

A fun gold and wood number (which may be a bit much for the dress but still worth mentioning) by Diane Von Furstenberg, photo: Bergdorf Goodman

Michael Kors cork & gold peep toe heel, photo: Bergdorf Goodman
And last but not least, a cork & gold peep toe heel by Michael Kors that I would never have even glanced at had it not been for a thought provoking suggestion from Wendy B.

Anything stand out?
Luv & Smiles,
gina
