Patience & Giving Good Thanks

I possess very little patience but having a blog as a hobby has taught me a few things in a short period of time. Ever since the IFB conference, I have been hooked to blogging but have never been in love with the cosmetics of my blog. I can't tell you how many blogs I have scoured and how many different things that I have tried-from my own handwriting font to different templates and pictures and nothing seemed to fit. I finally found some help which inspired me to do more research and teach myself how to do some things. I have even started to use a digital scrapbooking kit to play around with some button ideas-we will see what happens with those.

I believe it is really important and ethically right to give credit where credit is due and therefore I want to publicly THANK Megan from ShabbyBlogs for her free blog education, helpful tips, and amazing free blog items! My new header is by Megan but includes my own hand-writing font and my photo.  What is so awesome about Megan is not only was my header free but her blog also taught me how to layer the pieces together. Since I am a beginner and new at such a concept, I knew nothing about what software to use or how to do anything for that matter so it took me quite some time to put together my header. The fact that I was able to do this on my own and personalize it makes me proud.

So-I ask you LUVS two things. 1-please be patient with me while I update my newest hobby and latest pride and joy-MY Blog! :) and 2-check out Megan at ShabbyBlogs to find something cute for your blog!

How did you get your own handwriting font? That is really cool. I had to go back up and look at it, and yep! It's yours! :)
